Smock Bibs are excellent for children who are no longer willing to wear a standard bib and are constantly yanking it off of their necks, making a big mess. The velcro in the center of the back makes it difficult for most children to pull this smock off and it seems they like the change in style for a bib. This is a “Big Kid” bib. It covers the full front of a sitting child and may even go to the knees or shins of a standing child, depending on the size of the child and smock. They are available in two different sizes: small and large. A small would be ideal for the average 12-18 month old and will fit until just shy of three years old. These smocks are great for either eating purposes or artistic pursuits. The front of this bib is waterproof and wipeable, and has a pocket the width of the bib. The lining is flannel and the back attaches with velcro. There is elastic under the arms. The smock is fully machine washable and can also be put in the dryer.
